Kolja Lessing

Kolja Lessing is a German classical violinist, violist and pianist who began his career in the late 20th century, performing and recording primarily within the classical and contemporary classical genres. Known for his advocacy of neglected 20th-century repertoire and contemporary works, his performances and teaching have emphasised the recovery of overlooked composers and the expansion of recital and chamber-music programmes.
