Johanna Doderer

Johanna Doderer is an Austrian composer born in Bregenz in 1969 who studied composition in Austria and began a professional composing career in the 1990s, working across opera, orchestral, chamber and vocal genres. Her music often blends lyrical, neo-Romantic writing with contemporary techniques and theatre and film elements, evolving to incorporate folk influences and a range of ensemble formats within the contemporary Austrian musical scene.
