Kim Deal

Kim Deal is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Dayton, Ohio, who has been a central figure in alternative rock since the late 1980s through her work as bassist and co-vocalist of the Pixies and as frontwoman of the Breeders. Her songwriting is known for its lo-fi sensibility, melodic bass lines and a blend of indie rock, noise pop and slacker rock that has influenced generations of artists.
