The Ex

The Ex are a Dutch band formed in Amsterdam in 1979, emerging from the city's punk scene and initially associated with anarcho-punk and post-punk genres. Over decades they expanded their sound through experimental rock, noise, free improvisation and collaborations with musicians from diverse traditions, maintaining a DIY ethic and engagement with left-wing political movements within European underground culture.
