Lucy van Dael

Lucy van Dael is a Dutch baroque violinist and conductor who began her career in the historically informed performance movement in the 1970s and co-founded a period-instrument ensemble in 1981. She specialises in historically informed performance on period instruments, focusing on Baroque and early Classical repertoire, and has worked as a soloist, ensemble leader and teacher within the early music community.
