The Knife

The Knife are a Swedish electronic music duo formed in 1999, known for synth-heavy, experimental electronic and electropop music. They released their self-titled debut album in 2001 and subsequently issued Deep Cuts (2003), Silent Shout (2006) and Shaking the Habitual (2013); their work frequently explores themes of gender, identity and politics and incorporates performance and visual art, and they announced they would stop performing live in 2014.
