Jerry Granelli

Jerry Granelli was an American-born jazz drummer from San Francisco who emerged in the 1960s and built a career in jazz and improvised music. He became associated with a sensitive, textural approach to rhythm that blended small-group interplay, free improvisation and occasional electronic elements, and later combined performance with teaching and community-based interdisciplinary projects after relocating to Canada.
