Norman Corwin

Norman Corwin was an American writer and radio dramatist born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1910 who began his career in the 1930s producing and writing for network radio, working primarily in spoken-word drama and documentary-style broadcasts. Rooted in the Golden Age of Radio, his work spanned radio, television and theatre and is characterised by literary scripting, narrative experimentation and engagement with contemporary social and wartime themes.
