Hilding Rosenberg

Hilding Rosenberg was a Swedish composer born in Stockholm in 1892 whose career began in the early 20th century and who worked across classical forms including orchestral, chamber, vocal and operatic music. His style moved from late-Romantic idioms towards modernist and atonal techniques, incorporating neoclassical structures and attention to orchestral colour that contributed to twentieth-century Swedish musical development.
