Kari Ikonen

Kari Ikonen is a Finnish pianist, composer and keyboard player who began his career in the 1990s, working primarily in contemporary jazz and improvised music within the Helsinki scene. His music blends jazz with elements of Nordic folk, contemporary classical and electronic textures, and his output ranges from intimate acoustic trios to larger ensemble and compositional projects.
