Helmut Koch

Helmut Koch was a German conductor and choral director who began his career in the 1930s in radio and church music and later held posts in East German musical institutions. He specialised in choral repertoire, particularly baroque and contemporary works, and played a role in shaping radio and concert choral programmes in post-war Germany.
