Gabriela Beňačková

Gabriela Beňačková is a Slovak operatic soprano born in Bratislava who began her professional career in the late 1960s and is primarily associated with opera and classical repertoire. She is particularly associated with Czech and Slovak operatic works, especially those of Dvořák and Janáček, and developed an international career performing lyric soprano roles in Mozart and Romantic repertoire through opera houses and recordings.
