György Fischer

György Fischer is a Hungarian classical pianist and conductor from Budapest who began his career in the mid-20th century, working in operatic and orchestral contexts. Specialising in opera, lieder accompaniment and orchestral conducting, he developed a repertoire focused on classical and early romantic works and worked with a number of European opera houses and orchestras, contributing to performance practice in those genres.
