The Chorus of the Welsh National Opera is the resident operatic chorus of the Welsh National Opera, originating in Cardiff and established in the 1940s to perform operatic and choral repertoire. The ensemble applies operatic choral technique across a repertoire ranging from nineteenth-century standard works to contemporary commissions and bilingual productions in English and Welsh, and it also participates in outreach and education programmes connecting the company with communities across Wales.
