Glyndebourne Festival Opera Company
Glyndebourne Festival Opera is an English opera company founded in 1934 at Glyndebourne, East Sussex, that presents an annual summer festival of operatic performances. Its repertoire has historically emphasised Mozart and other classical and baroque works while expanding to include 20th-century and contemporary operas, and its countryside festival model has influenced British operatic programming and touring practices.
