Vassil Kazandjiev

Vassil Kazandjiev is a Bulgarian composer and conductor who began his career in the mid-20th century and is associated with classical and contemporary music. His work combines orchestral and chamber idioms with modernist and national elements, and he has been active in composing, conducting and education within Bulgaria's musical institutions.
