A Far Cry are a Boston-based conductorless chamber orchestra formed in 2007 as a collective of musicians from the city’s conservatories and early-career ensembles. They perform an eclectic repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, pursue a collaborative, democratic approach to interpretation and rehearsal, and have developed distinctive programmes and outreach activities within Boston’s cultural landscape.
