System 7 are an English electronic music project formed in London in 1990 that blends ambient, techno and trance styles and developed alongside the early 1990s rave and dance scenes. Their work combines immersive ambient textures, club-oriented rhythms and psychedelic guitar elements, and over subsequent decades they have released albums and performed live sets that explored the crossover between ambient and dance music within international club and festival contexts.
