Mario Schiano

Mario Schiano (1933–2008) was an Italian jazz saxophonist from Naples who began his career in the 1950s and became associated with the free jazz and avant-garde scenes. Initially rooted in modern jazz, his work evolved towards free improvisation and experimental approaches and he was active in Italy's improvised music and underground cultural circles.
