Kuljit Bhamra

Kuljit Bhamra is a British-Indian percussionist, composer and record producer who emerged from the UK Asian music scene in the 1980s, specialising in tabla-based rhythms and working across bhangra, jazz and electronic-inflected fusion. His work blends South Asian rhythmic traditions with contemporary British popular music, encompassing collaborations, theatre and film compositions and a role in cross-cultural musical exchange.
