Love are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, emerging from the city's folk‑rock and psychedelic scenes. Their sound blended folk‑rock, baroque pop and psychedelic experimentation, evolving from richly arranged, orchestral‑tinged recordings to more stripped‑back rock textures and contributing to the development of West Coast alternative music.
