Gino Bechi

Gino Bechi was an Italian operatic baritone born in Florence in 1913 who began his professional career in the 1930s and built his repertoire around Italian opera. He concentrated on Verdi and verismo roles, and his stage work and recordings exemplify mid-20th-century Italian vocal and interpretive practices.
