Zdeněk Lukáš

Zdeněk Lukáš was a Czech composer who began his career in the mid-20th century, composing within the classical tradition for orchestra, chamber ensembles, choir and the stage. His music blended traditional forms and tonal melody with later 20th-century techniques across a large catalogue of orchestral, chamber and vocal works, and he maintained an active presence in Czech musical life throughout the latter half of the century.
