Prasanna

Prasanna is an Indian guitarist and composer from Chennai who began his professional career in the late 1990s, working primarily in Carnatic, jazz and fusion genres. He blends Carnatic raga-based improvisation with jazz harmonies and electric-guitar techniques, has worked across Indian classical and global jazz contexts, and is associated with the development of a South Indian fusion guitar vocabulary.
