Paul van Kempen

Paul van Kempen was a Dutch conductor of classical music who began his career in the early 20th century and held conducting posts with orchestras in both the Netherlands and Germany. He specialised in Germanic repertoire and his career, spanning the interwar and postwar periods, involved roles in Dutch and German orchestral life and was marked by controversy relating to his activities during the Second World War.
