The Ting Tings
The Ting Tings are an English indie pop duo formed in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 2007, whose music draws on indie pop, dance-punk and new wave. Their style emphasises punchy rhythms, prominent percussion and concise hooks, and across their releases they moved between stripped-back, percussive arrangements and more synth-forward pop within the late-2000s indie-pop and post-punk revival context.
