Dave Rempis

Dave Rempis is an American jazz saxophonist based in Chicago who emerged in the late 1990s and early 2000s as an active figure in the city's improvised and avant-garde jazz scene. Working chiefly in small improvising ensembles and as a bandleader, his approach blends free jazz, post-bop and exploratory improvisation, and he has been involved in documenting and organising projects that support Chicago's creative-music community.
