Jo Quail

Jo Quail is an English cellist and composer from Brighton who emerged in the late 2000s and works across contemporary classical, experimental, ambient and drone music. Her work uses layered cello, looping and electronic processing to build dark ambient and neoclassical textures, and she has developed her practice through solo loop-based performances and collaborations with contemporary classical, drone and post-rock artists within the UK experimental scene.
