Orford String Quartet

The Orford String Quartet was a Canadian classical chamber ensemble formed in 1965 at the Orford Arts Centre in Quebec and remained active through the late 20th century. Specialising in both the standard string quartet repertoire and contemporary Canadian works, they performed and recorded widely and contributed to the development of professional chamber music activity in Canada.
