André Navarra

André Navarra was a French classical cellist who trained at the Paris Conservatoire and began his career in the early 20th century as a soloist and chamber musician. He specialised in repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary music, emphasising technical clarity and structural fidelity in performance, and held teaching posts at several conservatoires where he taught later generations of cellists.
