Kungliga Operan
Kungliga Operan is the Royal Swedish Opera, an opera and ballet company based in Stockholm established in 1773 as the national stage for opera in Sweden. Its repertoire spans baroque to contemporary opera and ballet, and its production practices, theatre architecture and programming have evolved over centuries to reflect shifts in Swedish cultural life.
