Júlia Várady

Júlia Várady is a Romanian-born German operatic soprano who began her professional career in the 1960s, initially performing in Romania before relocating to West Germany and establishing herself in the opera circuit. Her repertoire evolved from mezzo-soprano roles into soprano parts, encompassing works by Mozart, Verdi and Richard Strauss, and she performed regularly at major European opera houses.
