Lina Allemano

Lina Allemano is a Canadian trumpeter and composer from Edmonton, Alberta, who began her career in the 1990s and works primarily in contemporary jazz, free improvisation and experimental music. Her work combines composed frameworks with extended techniques and collective improvisation, evolving through small ensembles and solo projects to explore texture, timbre and atypical song structures within the avant-garde jazz and creative-music scene.
