Arno Babajanian

Առնո Բաբաջանյան was an Armenian composer and pianist born in Yerevan in 1921 who began his career in the Soviet era, working across classical, film and popular song genres. His work blends Armenian folk motifs with classical piano tradition and elements of jazz and film scoring, encompassing piano miniatures, concertos and songs that became part of Soviet Armenian cultural life.
