Poldowski

Poldowski was a Belgian-born composer and pianist who adopted a professional name and began composing and performing art songs and piano pieces in the early 20th century, working within French, English and salon music circles. Her music blends late-Romantic harmonies with intimate text settings in English and French, and she contributed to the Anglo-European art-song repertoire and salon concert culture of her era.
