Four Tet is an English electronic music project formed in London in the late 1990s, emerging from the UK underground and exploring genres such as folktronica, ambient and experimental electronic music. Combining acoustic instrumentation, intricate sampling and electronic production, Four Tet's output has evolved from folktronica into more dancefloor-oriented and experimental styles, incorporating elements of house, techno and improvisation and intersecting with contemporary electronic and indie music scenes.
