SFJAZZ Collective is an American jazz ensemble formed in San Francisco in 2004 as the resident performing group of the SFJAZZ organisation, featuring a rotating roster of established musicians working in modern and contemporary jazz. The Collective commissions new works and reimagines landmark compositions, blending post‑bop, modern and contemporary jazz approaches with large‑ensemble arrangements and improvisation while engaging in touring and educational programming to expand the jazz repertoire.
