Paul Gilson

Paul Gilson was a Belgian composer, conductor and teacher active from the late 19th century, associated with orchestral, choral and chamber music within the classical tradition. His work blended late-Romantic orchestration with emerging early-20th-century harmonic colours, and he contributed to Belgian musical education and the development of national orchestral repertoire.
