The Jordanaires

The Jordanaires are an American vocal quartet formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in the late 1940s, originally performing gospel and country music. They transitioned into prominent studio backing vocalists, providing close harmonies on country, rock and roll and pop recordings and helping to shape the vocal production of mid-20th-century American popular music.
