Rutger Zuydervelt is a Dutch composer and sound artist who has released work since the early 2000s under his own name and the project Machinefabriek, operating within experimental, ambient, electronic and electroacoustic genres. His work blends field recordings, processed acoustic instruments and electronic textures across albums, installations and film scores, and he frequently collaborates with visual artists and other musicians while exploring minimalist, textural and process-driven approaches.
