Buddy Holly

Buddy Holly was an American singer-songwriter from Lubbock, Texas, who began his recording career in 1956 and was associated with rock and roll and rockabilly. His music featured concise, guitar-driven arrangements, clear vocal delivery and a focus on self-penned material, and he made use of studio techniques that influenced subsequent rock musicians and the development of popular songwriting.
