Lucien Durosoir

Lucien Durosoir (1878–1955) was a French violinist and composer who began his career as a concert violinist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and served during the First World War. He turned increasingly to composition in the post-war years, producing chamber and orchestral music that combines late-Romantic expressive language with early modernist harmonic and contrapuntal elements and situates him within the French early 20th-century classical milieu.
