Derroll Adams
Derroll Adams was an American folk and country musician born in Portland, Oregon, in 1925 who began performing in post‑war folk and skiffle circles and later relocated to Europe where he continued his career. His style combined clawhammer banjo, traditional Appalachian ballads and country blues, and he became part of the folk revival in the UK and continental Europe, influencing scenes there through touring and recordings.
