Del Sol String Quartet is an American string quartet formed in San Francisco in the early 1990s that specialises in contemporary classical and chamber repertoire. They focus on commissioning and performing new works and on genre‑blending projects that incorporate elements of rock, electronic and popular music alongside chamber‑music traditions, and they engage in educational and community programmes.
