Sebastian Gramss is a German double bassist and composer who emerged in the European jazz and improvised-music scenes in the 1990s. He combines written composition and free improvisation across small ensembles and larger orchestral projects, exploring contemporary jazz, experimental and contemporary classical textures and frequent cross-genre collaboration.
