Geneviève Joy

Geneviève Joy (1919–2009) was a French classical pianist who studied at the Conservatoire de Paris and began her career in the mid-20th century, specialising in solo and chamber repertoire. She was associated with 20th-century French piano traditions and championed contemporary French repertoire through premieres, collaborations and recordings while maintaining an active concert presence.
