Roby Lakatos

Roby Lakatos is a Hungarian violinist and ensemble leader from Budapest who began his career in the late 20th century, training at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music and working across classical, Romani and folk traditions. His musical style blends classical technique and repertoire with improvisation drawn from Romani, jazz and klezmer traditions, forming a crossover approach that has led to performances with orchestras and at international festivals.
