Peter Knight & His Orchestra were a British light-music and easy-listening ensemble formed in the mid‑20th century to perform for radio broadcasts, recordings and broadcast variety programmes. Their repertoire combined orchestral arrangements of popular songs with elements of jazz and dance-band tradition, evolving through work for radio, film and television and reflecting mid‑century popular-music tastes.
