Kungliga Hovkapellet

Kungliga Hovkapellet is the Royal Court Orchestra of Sweden, based in Stockholm and traceable to the royal court's musical establishment from the 16th century, serving as the orchestra of the Royal Swedish Opera. Its repertoire encompasses operatic and symphonic works from baroque through contemporary music, and it has played a continuous role in Swedish musical life by performing in opera productions, concert programmes and official ceremonial events.
