Lee Collins

Lee Collins was an American jazz trumpeter from New Orleans who began his professional career in the early 1920s and worked in both the New Orleans and Chicago jazz scenes, performing in traditional jazz and Dixieland contexts. His playing and participation in bands and recordings contributed to the dissemination of New Orleans jazz idioms across the United States during the interwar and postwar periods.
